When Bryan Perry and former crew chief Adam Dainel first decided to go to the 2002 Motorsports expo little did they know they would leave their and found a race team. The car BPR would use was owner Bryan Perry's first car a 1990 Chevy Cavalier given to him by his parents. Though the car was very reliable he decided that he wanted something bigger so the car would sit in the driveway until the day they found out about Bridgeport Speedways 4 cylinder division. Soon the car was moved into the backyard where a total teardown of the vehicle began. After gutting the car completely the car sat in the backyard awaiting the spring so work could resume.
